Since 1983 Dr Mark Berman has been practicing Cosmetic Surgery at his Santa Monica office on Ocean Avenue He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons He is a pioneer in the use of GoreTex materials for cosmetic surgery and has patents pending on various surgical devices and implants He has also pioneered the concept of volume replenishing to rejuvenate the aging face He enjoys many different sporting activities plays the guitar and loves to read and write His favorite time of day however is when he is in the operating room performing surgery

The Breast Society is very pleased to announce that our President Dr Berman has created a new original external surface covering for breast implants that is designed to keep the implants feeling and looking natural It has been successful in clinical trials in breast implant surgery It is a new revolutionary innovation that is called the pocket protector He discusses and explains it in the following article
