Getting a Good Result

Getting an excellent result means having a beautiful chest, with no problems from the surgery and no problems with the implants for the rest of your life. This is our goal, and it is the goal of the surgeon and the women electing to have surgery.

This goal may be too good to be true, and for many of the women who had breast implant surgery more than twenty years ago, this was the case. Most have had problems with their implants or the surgery, and this website explains many of the common problems and the incidence of their occurrence under the topic title "Problems of Surgery".

A good result can be defined as a pleased patient (as deduced from questionnaires taken after surgery). In the case of breast surgery today, the great majority of women - approaching 90% or more - say they are pleased with the results of the surgery.
